60-Day Guarantee for BuildASoil Products

At BuildASoil, we take pride in our strict quality control standards and are committed to ensuring that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. If you are not completely satisfied with our product(s), we offer a 60-day guarantee as outlined below:

Terms and Conditions:

General Provisions:

Eligibility: This guarantee is available to the original purchaser of BuildASoil products and is not transferable.

60-Day Period: The guarantee is valid for 60 days from the date of purchase as indicated on the receipt.

Conditions for Refund:
a. If Unused the product must be returned in its original packaging, with all included accessories and manuals.
b. A detailed explanation must be provided regarding why the product did not meet your expectations or requirements.
c. The product must not have been misused, abused, or altered in any way.

Exclusions: This guarantee does not cover damages resulting from improper use, accidents, unauthorized repair, or normal wear and tear.

Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or proof of purchase from an authorized BuildASoil retailer must be provided.

Return Process: To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team within the 60-day guarantee period, providing the necessary information, including proof of purchase (Order #). Our team will guide you through the return process.

Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect in quality or an error on our part.

Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, and may take up to 10 business days to process.

Restocking Fee: For items refunded without fault of BuildASoil there will be a $5.00 or 15% restocking fee whichever is greater. Items that are at fault of BuildASoil will not have any additional fee.

Reserves the Right: BuildASoil reserves the right to deny a refund if the returned product does not meet the conditions outlined above or if the guarantee appears to be abused.

Manufacturer's Warranty Consideration: Before processing a refund or replacement under this guarantee, BuildASoil will first seek to utilize any applicable manufacturer's warranty for the product in question. If the issue can be resolved through the manufacturer's warranty, BuildASoil may direct the customer to the manufacturer for resolution. If the manufacturer's warranty does not resolve the issue to the customer's satisfaction, the provisions of this guarantee will then apply.

Special Provisions for Potting Soil:

Limit of Guarantee: The guarantee for potting soil is limited to the value of the soil only, with a maximum guarantee value of $10,000. Those ordering larger volumes of soil do so at their own risk.

Detailed Explanation Required: If the soil is not found acceptable after use, a detailed explanation of why it did not meet expectations must be provided.

Soil Test: BuildASoil may request a soil test to determine if the soil is outside our quality parameters.

Batch Testing for Larger Volumes: Customers interested in ordering larger volumes should contact BuildASoil to have larger batches batch tested prior to fulfillment.

Calcium: > 50% (Standard Soil Test)

Soluble Salts: <2000 (Saturated Paste Test)

Sodium: <5% (Standard Soil Test)

Bicarbonate: <400 (Saturated Paste Test)

Chloride: <400 (Saturated Paste Test)

Nitrate Nitrogen: <200 ppm (Standard Soil Test)
